Nölken happy with PLMA and Cosmetic Business
Trade fairs at the PLMA and Cosmetic Business were a complete success for Nölken Hygiene Products.
Nölken Hygiene Products GmbH had two trade fairs scheduled for last week. On two days, the teams established contacts, discovered trends, and delighted visitors with their products at the PLMA in Amsterdam and the Cosmetic Business in Munich.
PLMA: Networking at the most important trade fair
After 2019, the PMLA was held again on 31.05. and 01.06 since the beginning of the Corona pandemic. “For us, the PLMA is the most important trade fair, as representatives of all large trading and industrial companies are there”, says Dorothee Wiedemann, Team Leader of Marketing and Project Management at Nölken. We were therefore very glad that the trade show could go ahead without major restrictions after two years.”
With a team of nine from Distribution, Purchasing, Marketing, as well as representatives of the Management, Nölken answered questions to prospective clients and trade fair visitors. At the interactive exhibition stand in Holland Hall, visitors were also able to test the products from Nölken and create their own wet wipe packet its individual design.
“At peak times, we had all hands on deck”, said Managing Director Markus Nölken . “Overall, we had many visitors at our exhibition stand, and the atmosphere was very good over both days.”
In addition, NW-Chemie GmbH took part for the first time. The partner company of Nölken presented interesting and high-quality products for disinfection. “Due to the pandemic, these products also became more of an attraction for the trade. Despite the tense situation, there are a lot of new ventures, and the interest in innovations is not reducing”, according to Markus Nölken. The highlights were the alcohol-free antiseptic wipes, which also meet the highest requirements for medical use.
Cosmetic Business: Focus on sustainability and packaging trends
The two-day Cosmetic Business in Munich was equally as informative for Nölken. After the successful participation in November 2021, on 1 and 2 June, a team of five was once again on site, supported on Day 2 by Managing Directors Markus Nölken and Thomas Schnitter.
“At the Cosmetic Business, for us it’s mostly about discovering new trends”, explained Daniel Kesseler, Head of Product Management. It was our aim to present the name Nölken and make it more known.”
His colleague and Sustainability Manager at Nölken, Christoph Lerbs adds: “In particular the topics sustainability and packaging trends play a central role for us at this year’s Cosmetic Business.” And there was also something for visitors at the exhibition stand. They had the opportunity to blend their own shower gel, which was very well received.
In addition, the exhibition team received many enquiries about special products as well as products of the partner NW-Chemie. The exchange, especially after Corona, was therefore not only of enormous importance, but also very successful for Nölken.
Nölken happy with trade fair presentation
“It is our daily claim to create customer enthusiasm. This also applies to us at the trade fairs”, summarizes Managing Director Thomas Schnitter in respect of trade fair presences. “I believe that we have achieved this once again at the PLMA in Amsterdam and the Cosmetic Business in Munich.
