Nölken’s interactive exhibition stand impresses at PLMA’s World of Private Label

Nölken Hygiene Products presents its latest innovations at the trade fair in Amsterdam

For two days last week, Amsterdam was once again the meeting place for several thousand retail brands. At PLMA's World of Private Label at the RAI Exhibition Centre, retailers, wholesalers, and manufacturers had the opportunity to present new products, make contacts, and exchange information on current trends. Nölken Hygiene Products GmbH was also represented at the trade fair on 23 and 24 May and impressed visitors with a trade stand that has been completely redesigned.

Focus is again on trends and developments

Concerns about supply and a higher demand for retailers’ own brands were a major topic of discussion for manufacturers and retailers at this year’s World of Private Labels. Accordingly, the media also anticipated a considerable number of visitors. Thomas Schnitter from Nölken has a different view of the actual number of visitors: “Contrary to some reports in the press, I would not confirm that the fair was better attended than in previous years.” For Nölken, the trade fair was a complete success regardless of this.

Thomas Schnitter continues: “Apart from customers, there were also some suppliers at our stand with whom we could exchange ideas about innovative concepts. The discussions were of an extremely high standard, and it is fair to say that this year there was more focus on new and innovative products and less talk about delivery capacities, as was the case last year.”

A similar view is shared by Managing Director Markus Nölken: “It was once again possible to engage in more discussions with visitors about the latest trends and developments in the cosmetics and hygiene industry.”

Much praise for the new exhibition stand

As a manufacturer of high-quality hygiene products and care products, Nölken Hygiene Products was in demand at the trade fair. So the team of ten was extremely busy on the two trade fair days. The completely redesigned and interactive exhibition stand was a real crowd-puller.

In addition to various test stations for wet wipes, nursing pads, and liquid care products, Nölken also provided a laboratory area where visitors could mix their own individual wash foam. Visitors to the fair could choose between three upcycling raw materials. Nölken has thereby raised awareness of a sustainable future trend that generates less waste and saves ingredients or increases their period of use.

“We were delighted that our new stand design was so well received by the participants at the fair and that even the competition praised us for it”, sums up Markus Nölken.

After the trade fair, it is now a priority for the team at Nölken to further develop the newly established contacts.
