Nölken Hygiene Products presented its latest innovations at the trade fair in Amsterdam
For two days last week, Amsterdam was once again the meeting point for several thousand retail brands. At PLMA's World of Private Label in the RAI Exhibition Centre, retailers, wholesalers, and manufacturers had the opportunity to showcase new products, network, and exchange ideas about current trends. Nölken Hygiene Products GmbH was also present at the trade fair on May 23rd and 24th, impressing visitors with a completely redesigned trade fair stand.
The focus is back on trends and developments.
Supply chain uncertainties and increased demand for private labels were a major topic for manufacturers and retailers at this year's Private Label Manufacturers Association (PLMA) show. Accordingly, a very high turnout was also expected in the media. Thomas Schnitter from Nölken sees the actual visitor numbers differently: „Contrary to some press reports, I would not confirm that the trade fair was better attended than in previous years.“ Regardless, the trade fair was a complete success for Nölken.
Thomas Schnitter continued: „Besides customers, we also had some suppliers at our booth with whom we could exchange ideas about future-oriented content. The quality of the conversations was extremely good, and one could say that this year there was more talk about new and innovative products and less about delivery capabilities, as was the case last year.“
Managing Director Markus Nölken sees it similarly: „We were able to exchange ideas with visitors again about the latest trends and developments in the cosmetics and hygiene industry.“
High praise for new trade fair stand
As a manufacturer of high-quality hygiene and personal care products, Nölken Hygiene Products was in high demand at the trade fair. The ten-person team was therefore very busy during the two days of the fair. The completely redesigned and interactive trade fair stand was a real crowd-puller.
In addition to various test terminals for wet wipes, breast pads, and liquid care products, Nölken also offered a laboratory area where visitors could mix their own individual washing foam. Visitors to the trade fair could choose from three upcycled raw materials for this. With this, Nölken drew attention to a sustainable future trend that produces less waste and saves or makes ingredients usable for longer.
„We were very pleased that our new booth concept was so well received by trade fair attendees, and even the competition praised us for it,“ summarizes Markus Nölken.
After the trade fair, the Nölken team's focus is now on qualifying the newly made contacts.
