We systematically assess and manage the impact of our business activities on the ecological environment with the aim of continuously reducing potential environmental impacts. In doing so, we adopt a preventive approach that we continuously implement within the framework of our environmental management system certified according to DIN EN ISO 14001:2015. In our management system, we focus on the topics of climate protection, energy, waste, water and biodiversity and avoid operational negative impacts on air, water, soil and nature.
To promote a deep understanding of environmental issues within the company, we rely on training for our employees and extensive measures in the production process. In the production process, we use water and energy-saving technologies, and we source renewable energy at our sites in Windhagen, Neustadt/Wied and Nowogrodziec, PL. We account for our company-wide CO₂ emissions (Scopes 1–3) using the GHG Protocol and are working to continuously reduce these emissions.
