Leading Private Label Manufacturer of Hygiene Products Releases 2023 Sustainability Report

As part of its ongoing efforts to link ecological and social responsibility with economic success, Nölken Hygiene Products has presented its Sustainability Report for 2023. This step reinforces the company's position as a pioneer in the hygiene products industry and demonstrates that economic success and sustainable action can go hand in hand.  

Leading role in difficult times

In a time marked by global challenges such as strained supply chains and difficult procurement conditions, Nölken continues to demonstrate its forward-looking approach. With 54% of its nonwovens certified as sustainable, Nölken is demonstrating its commitment to environmentally friendly production.

It is also particularly noteworthy that 100% of the company’s palm raw materials are certified as sustainable. In addition, Nölken has further improved its resource efficiency and, in 2023, saved an impressive 123 metric tons of CO₂ by collecting and recycling carrier tape paper.

It is also worth highlighting the voluntary commitment to comply with the Supply Chain Due Diligence Act. This is an initiative that Nölken has undertaken despite no legal obligation, due to its size as a medium-sized company.

In its endeavor to continuously reduce its ecological footprint, Nölken also relies on the use of certified green electricity and the expansion of solar installations at its company sites.
