Martin Francke has been working as a Regulatory Affairs Manager since the beginning of the year.
Nölken Hygiene Products GmbH announces that, as of January 1, 2023, Martin Francke holds the newly created position of Regulatory Affairs Manager. With this, Nölken is addressing the growing regulatory challenges in the hygiene and cosmetics industry.
Response to dynamic regulatory developments
The European Chemicals Agency (ECHA) maintains thousands of guidelines, concept papers, and FAQs, which are regularly updated and expanded. Against this background, and in light of recent developments leading to further prohibitions and restrictions on raw materials, Nölken has decided to establish a dedicated staff unit. The position of Regulatory Affairs Manager oversees compliance with the growing regulatory requirements, thereby ensuring the high standards of products and packaging, as well as correct, non-misleading advertising claims.
An essential aspect of the new position is independence from other operational commitments. This allows the Regulatory Affairs Manager to act neutrally and without commercial or development-related influence. Communication with authorities and associations, as well as the analysis of product-specific data and legal situations, now fall under the responsibility of the Regulatory Affairs Manager.
About Martin Francke

With his extensive expertise, he is exceptionally well-equipped to handle the regulatory challenges at Nölken.
„The establishment of this new staff unit is an important step for Nölken to proactively address the growing regulatory challenges in our industry,“ says Daniel Nölken, Managing Director of Nölken Hygiene Products GmbH. „With Martin Francke, we have gained an excellent expert for this task.“
